THE FUND
On the morning of Saturday, 7 October 2023, Hamas began launching thousands of missiles from the Gaza Strip to Israel. At the same time, 1,500 armed Hamas terrorists breached the security fence and entered Israel by foot and in vehicles. Over the following hours they killed 1145 people, injured 3300, raped young Israeli women, desecrated bodies and abducted 251 innocent people. October 7 will be remembered as one of the darkest days in the history of Israel and humanity.
The One Natio-Iron Swords Aid Foundation was established immediately after the events of October 7 out of realization that Israel is in a state of emergency, and that immediate support was needed for those physically and mentally harmed, whom the government was late in aiding. Since its formation, the foundation has been investing in various initiatives to aid victims and soldiers.

'Rega' initiative aims to express gratitude to reserve soldiers for their courage and contribution, and to provide them with a soft landing back to day-to-day life, after serving intense and exhausting combat periods. The retreat takes place at the Alaya Poleg Wellness Village and hosts recently discharged reserve units.
During the retreat, the soldiers enjoy wellness workshops and personalized spa treatments, that allow them to release tension and stress, strengthen their spirit and relax. The soldiers also get to listen to inspirational talks, and in the evening, a unique gathering takes place on the beach around a bonfire, accompanied by good food, drinks and live music.
The affluent atmosphere and empowering experience allow the soldiers to pause for a moment before transitioning from a dangerous reality to a tense one, filling them with positive energy to better cope with their return to daily life.

Retreat for the survivors and wounded of October 7 and the Iron Swords War
'Layla Keyom Yair' as Day initiative was born a week after the outbreak of the Iron Swords War, with the purpose to create a healing space for survivors of the Re’im music festival massacre and those wounded by the war. The retreat allows them to process and release trauma under professional guidance, build psychological resilience, reduce the risk of developing post-traumatic stress symptoms, and strengthen hope and belief in recovery and growth even after such an event.
The three-day retreat takes place in a beautiful traditional Middle Eastern inn by the Carmel shore. Within this safe, humane and accepting space, participants get to experience different personalized treatment methods, connect with other people who have lived through similar trauma, and make a significant step forward in their healing journey.
Combining body, mind, spirit, awareness, movement, creativity, nature, music and community, the retreat provides participants with a deep and meaningful experience that helps them build psychological resilience and acquire resources for their ongoing personal development.

Housing and Aid for Evacuees
The following day after October 7, the One Nation – Iron Swords Aid Foundation
took it upon itself to find an immediate solution for people who were evacuated
from their homes in the south of Israel, in the line of fire, out of realization that
government aid is late in coming.
Within this initiative we have accommodated 400 people at the Alaya Poleg
Wellness Village and at the Selina Frishman TLV Hotel. Additionally, we established
a kosher kitchen and a transportation system for meals, providing evacuees with three
meals a day for two months. We also assisted them in asserting their rights with
the National Insurance Institute, organized various activities and programs for children,
arranged performances by top Israeli artists, and even celebrated with them
a bar mitzvah and a brit milah.
The project was accompanied by social workers and carried out in collaboration
with the Tel Aviv Municipality, the Ministry of Welfare and the Ministry of Education.
Thanks to a dedicated team of volunteers who worked tirelessly, the families’ stay in
the hotels was made as pleasant as possible.
