Layla kayom Yair as Day initiative was born a week after the outbreak of the Iron Swords War, with the purpose to create a healing space for survivors of the Re’im music festival massacre and those wounded by the war. The retreat allows them to process and release trauma under professional guidance, build psychological resilience, reduce the risk of developing post-traumatic stress symptoms, and strengthen hope and belief in recovery and growth even after such an event.

The three-day retreat takes place in a beautiful traditional Middle Eastern inn by the Carmel shore. Within this safe, humane and accepting space, participants get to experience different personalized treatment methods, connect with other people who have lived through similar trauma, and make a significant step forward in their healing journey.

Combining body, mind, spirit, awareness, movement, creativity, nature, music and community, the retreat provides participants with a deep and meaningful experience that helps them build psychological resilience and acquire resources for their ongoing personal development.
